BREAD PUDDING · BUDIN DE PAN

Puerto Rican tradition

Heritage Bread Pudding was born from a desire to preserve more than a recipe. It is our way of honoring the women who came before us, the kitchens that shaped us, and the simple ritual of making something by hand to share with the people you love. What once belonged only to our family table is now being carried into a new generation - still rooted in Puerto Rico, still made with intention, and still meant to bring people together.

OUR HERITAGE

Rooted in tradition

A vintage black and white portrait photograph of a woman with short, wavy hair, wearing earrings and a decorated blouse.

In our family, budín was never just one woman’s recipe. It lived in the hands of our mothers, titis, and abuelita - each making it from memory, instinct, and love for holidays, birthdays, and gatherings that seemed to last all afternoon. As the years passed, I began to realize that this tradition, like so many family recipes, could quietly disappear if no one chose to carry it forward. So I did.

OUR MISSION

Baking with purpose

A woman with curly brown hair, wearing a white shirt and dark jeans, standing in front of pink rhododendron flowers and green foliage.

Our budín is made to awaken a sense of nostalgia in every season. More than dessert, it is an invitation to linger, connect, and celebrate the stories, flavors, and shared memories that have always brought people together. By preserving the recipes and rituals passed down through the women in our family, we hope to keep a small piece of Puerto Rican heritage alive for the next generation.

Real ingredients — no preservatives.

Crafted with just ten ingredients, our budín honors the simplicity of abuelita’s kitchen - where good bread, warm spice, and time were all you needed to make something unforgettable. We begin with locally baked bread made without seed oils, then layer in familiar, quality ingredients chosen for their richness, flavor, and ability to evoke something deeply nostalgic.

“Every box tells a story as sweet as the pudding inside.”
